About Us

The DISHA Foundation works to create safe, equitable, and inclusive workplaces while empowering women, farmers, and youth to achieve sustainable livelihoods and build resilient communities.

Established in 2025, it is a nonprofit development organisation committed to advancing worker well-being, gender equity, and inclusive community development through evidence-based, workplace-based, and community-led interventions. With strong grassroots experience, the Foundation collaborates closely with manufacturing units, supply chain partners, civil society organisations, and other stakeholders to strengthen inclusive systems and promote safe, respectful, and equitable work environments. Its core areas of intervention include women’s empowerment, prevention of sexual harassment, leadership and life-skills development, financial inclusivity, access to health care, social protection, human rights, child and youth rights, and capacity building for workers and youth. The DISHA Foundation’s work contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), fostering sustainable change that enables individuals and communities to lead lives of dignity and opportunity.
