The DISHA Foundation

The DISHA Foundation promotes safe, equitable, and inclusive workplaces while empowering women, farmers, and youth to build sustainable livelihoods and resilient communities across South India.

The DISHA Foundation, established in 2025, is built on more than 16 years of deep grassroots experience in community development. We bring strong expertise in designing and delivering worker wellbeing and women empowerment programs for leading global brands in the apparel sector. Our core mission is to uplift workers, women, and youth by creating supportive, equitable, and opportunity-rich environments where they can truly thrive. Under the leadership of Mr. Sathish K. N., a seasoned specialist in worker wellbeing and capacity-building initiatives, The DISHA Foundation has created meaningful and measurable impact. To date, we have empowered 1,500+ workers and youth across South India through structured capacity-building programs, workplace system strengthening, and initiatives focused on life skills, health, hygiene, and gender empowerment delivered in collaboration with supply chain partners and development sector organizations. While our current footprint is in Southern India, our vision is to scale these proven development models across the country. We remain deeply committed to advancing worker wellbeing, promoting gender equality, and fostering sustainable community development contributing to a future where every individual has the opportunity to grow, lead, and thrive.
